As an M&E BIM Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of coordinated building services designs across a wide range of projects.Working closely with engineers and the wider design team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance across all project stages.Key responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed M&E drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD
- Supporting the development of coordinated design information across disciplines
- Assisting engineers with model production from concept through to construction
- Ensuring all drawings and models meet project specifications and industry standards
- Coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to resolve design clashes
- Attending design meetings and supporting project delivery
- Maintaining BIM standards and contributing to continuous improvement
Projects you will work on include:
- Automotive and industrial facilities
- Education and healthcare buildings
- Hotels and leisure developments
- Logistics and distribution centres
- Commercial offices and retail schemes
- High-end residential and mixed-use developments
- Heritage and specialist environments

What you'll need to succeed
Experience working as a BIM Technician / CAD Technician within an M&E or building services consultancy
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Good understanding of building services coordination and design processes
- Ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings and models
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills when working with engineers and external stakeholders
