About the Role
This is a key position responsible for driving compliance, quality, and operational excellence throughout the organisation. The successful candidate will lead our journey to achieving ISO 9001 certification while maintaining and enhancing our existing ISO 45001 accreditations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and industry requirements.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will promote a culture of quality, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, certification, and ongoing management of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Maintain and continually improve existing ISO 45001 management systems.
- Develop, review, and manage policies, procedures, work instructions, and management system documentation.
- Coordinate certification, surveillance, and recertification audits with external bodies.
- Conduct internal audits, compliance reviews, and root cause investigations.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions through to successful completion.
- Manage document control processes and accreditation records.
- Deliver training and guidance on quality, health & safety, and compliance requirements.
- Support managers in maintaining compliant processes and best practices.
- Prepare reports and management review documentation for senior leadership.
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience implementing and managing ISO management systems, particularly ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, governance, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading internal and external audits.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach with the ability to influence positive change across the organisation.
