We are partnering with an award-winning consultancy group who have won a regional bid to promote innovation within the construction industry, to support with the appointment of a Strategic Partnerships Manager based in the Midlands.
This programme sits at the centre of one of the UK’s most significant growth opportunities, industrialised, offsite and low-carbon construction, and is already well established, with strong funding, senior stakeholder engagement, and a live delivery pipeline.
As Strategic Partnerships Manager you will act as the day-to-day commercial and operational lead, responsible for building relationships, driving programme delivery, and positioning the cluster as a key industry platform across the region.
The role
- Own and develop relationships across a 50+ member network, including contractors, developers, SMEs, and public sector partners
- Deliver a high-impact engagement programme, including events, pipeline sessions, showcases, and buyer forums
- Map regional development and infrastructure pipelines and connect members to live opportunities
- Convene and lead task groups to address demand-side and procurement challenges
- Identify, shape, and support funding bids and innovation programmes in collaboration with industry and academia
- Align industry demand with skills and workforce initiatives, working with education and training providers
- Develop market intelligence outputs including pipeline mapping, insights, and briefing papers
- Support long-term strategy development, including cluster growth plans and policy engagement
- Act as a key interface with public sector stakeholders and regional partners
- Contribute to commercial sustainability through membership growth, sponsorship, and funding pipelines
The successful candidate
- Experience in membership, account management, or stakeholder engagement roles within a trade body, or similar environment
- Strong understanding of the construction or built environment sector desirable
- Proven ability to manage engagement programmes or events with tangible commercial or strategic outcomes
- Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders across both private and public sectors
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
