We're recruiting a Night Porter in Birmingham for an exciting opportunity at a well-established hospitality venue. This role offers a varied position where you'll support guests, assist with events, and help ensure the smooth running of a busy hotel and conference operation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Night Porter, you will play an important role in the overnight operation by:

• Checking guests in and out of the venue
• Running the nightly audit process
• Setting up and clearing rooms for conferences, weddings, and events
• Preparing and serving room service orders
• Assisting with bar service when required
• Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
• Cleaning conference rooms and public areas
• Completing night-time fire and safety checks
• Taking telephone calls and reservations
• Supporting general front office duties

What we're looking for

To be successful as a Night Porter, you should have:

• Previous experience as a hotel night porter
• Experience using Guestline Rezlynx hotel management systems
• Experience setting up and breaking down conference and function rooms
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A proactive and reliable approach
• Flexibility to support different departments as required
