An excellent opportunity for a Lightning Protection Test and Repair Engineer to join a growing maintenance division during an exciting period of expansion. The business specialises in lightning protection testing, inspection, maintenance, and remedial works for a wide range of clients including facilities management companies, local authorities, and end users. Following significant growth over the last 12 months, the company is expanding its Midlands coverage and is looking to strengthen its engineering team to support a growing portfolio of maintenance contracts.

You will carry out planned lightning protection inspections, testing, and remedial works across commercial and public sector sites throughout the Midlands. Most days will involve completing multiple inspections while identifying and undertaking repair works where required.

The ideal candidate will have previous lightning protection experience, hold an NVQ Level 2 in Lightning Protection, and be comfortable working independently across multiple sites. You should be organised, self-motivated, and keen to develop your career within a growing business.

The Role

• Carry out lightning protection testing and inspections
  * Identify and complete remedial repair works
  * Complete maintenance reports and certification
  * Manage daily workloads using the company scheduling system
  * Travel across the Midlands attending client sites

The Person

• NVQ Level 2 in Lightning Protection
  * Experience testing and repairing lightning protection systems
  * Valid CSCS Card
  * Full UK Driving Licence
  * DBS check or willingness to obtain one
