Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - #2083514

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a fast-paced production facility. You will be responsible for reactive breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and general site maintenance, ensuring all machinery and building services remain fully operational.

This is a hands-on role working in a manufacturing environment, often independently, requiring strong fault-finding skills across both electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repair
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM activities
• Maintain and repair equipment including PLCs, inverter drives, conveyors, packaging machinery, and control systems
• Support building services including HVAC, refrigeration, fire systems, and BMS
• Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance across site
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Support H&S compliance and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing (food or automotive preferred)
• Competent with 3-phase systems, PLCs, HMI, and control circuits
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
• Experience with motors, gearboxes, fabrication, and welding
• 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
• HNC or equivalent engineering qualification
