An award-winning performance marketing agency is hiring a Paid Media Manager to join their growing team in Birmingham.


This is a hands-on role focused on planning, building and optimising paid media campaigns across a varied client base. You'll take ownership of Google Ads activity end to end, working alongside a wider performance team that operates across paid social, programmatic and strategy.


Role: Paid Media Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Location: Birmingham City Centre, 3 days a week in office


What you'll be doing:

  • Plan, build and manage paid media campaigns across multiple client accounts
  • Lead on Google Ads activity including Search, Shopping, Performance Max and Display
  • Monitor campaign performance and make ongoing optimisations to improve results
  • Manage budgets, bids and pacing across accounts to hit client KPIs
  • Build clear reporting and translate performance data into actionable insight for clients
  • Work closely with strategy, creative and account teams to deliver joined-up campaigns
  • Test and learn across creative, audiences, formats and channels to drive growth
  • Stay across platform updates, beta features and wider industry changes


What you'll need:

  • Solid hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns in an agency or in-house performance role
  • Strong understanding of Search, Shopping and Performance Max
  • Confidence working across budgets, bidding strategies and account structure
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations
  • Experience reporting to and managing client or stakeholder relationships
  • Comfortable juggling multiple accounts and priorities at once


Nice to have:

  • Experience running paid activity on TikTok Ads
  • Exposure to Meta, programmatic or wider paid social platforms
  • Background working across ecommerce, retail or consumer brands


This role would suit a paid media specialist who wants to take real ownership of Google activity within a performance-led agency working with recognisable brands.
