About the job  

Kagool helps global enterprises modernize their Data and Analytics landscapes using Azure. We are rapidly growing our Data Engineering practice and looking for hard working passionate team members to join our exciting journey.  

We are looking to expand our current team and need experienced individuals who can lead our ongoing and upcoming projects in this space. This role will be primarily focused on BAU/Application Management services (AMS) with the resource leading the team and leading all technical delivery with the AMS function. You will be given significant training and development opportunities whilst working with our leading customers who operates their complex solutions on Microsoft Azure cloud. 

Successful candidates will understand modern data platform architecture and have solved complex technical problems to deliver to clients’ requirements. You will be a competent team player, developing simple and straightforward solutions that are scalable, utilizing appropriate technologies and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities 

• Build/Support highly efficient and scalable ETL processes using big data technology 
• Deploy code to production and maintain the stability of the production environment 
• Leverage large scale cloud infrastructure to build high throughput services 
• Designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting code in SQL/Python 
• Good understanding of implementation and support experience with Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Modelling etc. 
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences 
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in addition to technical depth 
• Ensure solutions are delivered on time and to the satisfaction of the stakeholder. 
• Excellent team player and collaborative working skills 

Experience required 

• Significant experience with Azure services and worked on Azure data projects 
• Experience with Azure cloud services: ADF, ADB, Azure SQL server 
• Should have worked in Azure data bricks orchestration with any language (like R, Scala, Python, SQL) 
• Should have developed and solutions using Azure data factory pipelines 
• Should have knowledge or worked on Azure synapse analytics 
• Experience with DevOps, Continuous Delivery 
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python 
• Knowledge with any of the following programming/scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala 
• Knowledge on orchestrating workloads on cloud 
• Knowledge on legacy Database Migration. 
• Knowledge of ITIL based incident management process 
• Experience with incident management, service management, problem management skills 
• SAP experience (bonus; not essential)
