A nationally recognised public sector infrastructure organisation is expanding its procurement function and needs multiple experienced Sourcing Managers to lead high-value, over-threshold sourcing programmes.

What's on Offer

• Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
• Pension: Defined benefit pension scheme
• Travel: 75% subsidy on train travel
• Annual leave: 28 days plus statutory days, with buy/sell flexibility
• Working pattern: Hybrid, 3 days in the office across London and Milton Keynes

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading end-to-end, over-threshold sourcing projects in a regulated procurement environment
• Developing sourcing strategies and producing full tender documentation
• Running pre-market engagement and complex commercial evaluations
• Negotiating with suppliers and delivering measurable savings
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple internal functions
• Applying working knowledge of contract law and financial management to complex sourcing challenges
• Contributing to category strategy development and continuous improvement

What You'll Need

• Public sector procurement experience (essential)
• Recent, demonstrable over-threshold tendering experience outside of a framework (essential)
• Strong working knowledge of PCR 2015 and/or the Procurement Act 2023
• NEC3/NEC4 contract experience (desirable not required)
• Proven negotiation and stakeholder management at a senior level
• Based within 90 minutes of Milton Keynes and able to travel to MK one day per week
