The Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading organisation within the building products and ventilation sector to appoint a commercially focused UK Managing Director.

This is a high-profile leadership role with full responsibility for the UK business, driving growth, operational performance, customer relationships and long-term strategic development.


The successful candidate will lead a multi-functional organisation, shaping the next phase of growth through strong commercial leadership, market insight and a focus on operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and full P&L ownership for the UK business.
  • Develop and execute growth plans across commercial, operational and customer channels.
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, contractors and industry partners.
  • Lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams across sales, operations and support functions.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, innovation and improved business performance.
  • Drive a culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.


Candidate Profile

We are seeking an accomplished senior leader with experience in the building products, HVAC, ventilation, construction products or related manufacturing sectors.

You will bring:

  • Proven Managing Director, General Manager or senior commercial leadership experience.
  • A successful track record of delivering profitable growth.
  • Strong strategic capability combined with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Experience managing complex customer channels including specification, distribution and/or contractor routes to market.
  • Strong financial awareness with ownership of business performance.
  • The ability to lead change, engage teams and build a high-performance culture.
