We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing Assistant to join our team and support the delivery of high-impact marketing activity across digital, print, and social channels.


The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated junior marketer with strong design capabilities, excellent written skills, and hands-on social media experience. You will play a key role in supporting brand communications, content creation, and campaign execution.

The ideal candidate is creative, organised, digitally confident, and eager to develop within a fast-paced B2B logistics environment.


Key Responsibilities


Content & Copywriting

  • Write engaging copy for website updates, email campaigns, blogs, case studies, and internal communications
  • Support the creation of press releases and award submissions
  • Ensure brand tone of voice is consistent across all channels
  • Assist with member communications and marketing materials

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create, and schedule social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages where appropriate
  • Track and report on social performance metrics
  • Identify content opportunities across the network

Design & Creative

  • Create visual assets for digital campaigns, social posts, presentations, and print materials
  • Design marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, and event materials
  • Support brand consistency across all creative output
  • Work with external agencies when required

Campaign & Marketing Support

  • Assist in delivering integrated marketing campaigns
  • Support event promotion and marketing for exhibitions and internal events
  • Maintain and update website content
  • Conduct competitor and industry research


Skills & Experience


Essential

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva
  • Experience managing social media platforms (ideally LinkedIn for B2B)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills

Desirable

  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights)
  • Experience in B2B marketing (logistics experience a bonus)
