Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join a respected law firm in the Black Country, West Midlands. This is a full-time, permanent job offering the opportunity to manage your own caseload within a supportive and collaborative property team. About the Role

As a Residential Conveyancer, you will take responsibility for managing a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity to join a client-focused team where quality of service and professional relationships are prioritised. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion
  • Taking ownership of client relationships and delivering a high standard of service throughout each transaction
  • Handling residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Managing leasehold property matters and associated transactions
  • Liaising with estate agents, lenders, brokers and other third parties to progress matters efficiently
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Ensuring clients receive regular updates throughout the conveyancing process
  • Managing files accurately and maintaining high standards of record keeping
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering obligations and internal procedures
  • Using case management systems effectively to manage workflows and deadlines
  • Supporting the continued success and growth of the residential property department

About You

To be successful in this Residential Conveyancer job, you will have previous experience managing residential conveyancing matters independently and be confident handling a varied caseload. You will be organised, proactive and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience while working collaboratively with colleagues and external contacts.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Qualified Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, Solicitor or experienced Residential Property Fee Earner
  • Proven experience managing residential conveyancing transactions independently
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • A proactive and practical approach to managing files and resolving issues
  • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional approach when dealing with clients, colleagues and third parties
  • Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a collaborative team culture
