Post-Exchange Paralegal | Legal 500 Firm | Birmingham

Salary: starting at £28,000

Currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Post-Exchange Paralegal to join a high profile Legal 100 Real Estate team in Birmingham.

This role sits within the specialist Post Exchange Team, supporting high-volume real estate transactions from exchange through to completion and post-completion registration. You will play a key role in ensuring matters progress efficiently, accurately, and within strict deadlines.

The Role

• Managing post-exchange transactions, deadlines, trackers and workflow calendars
• Preparing and submitting SDLT returns, AP1 applications and priority searches
• Monitoring completion, Land Registry, cancellation and statutory deadlines
• Handling Land Registry requisitions and supporting post-completion processes
• Providing client updates and supporting fee earners with day-to-day enquiries
• Maintaining accurate records, file compliance and departmental procedures

About You

• Minimum 18 months’ experience in a similar Real Estate / Post-Completion role
• Strong organisational, drafting and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume work
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, client-focused approach
• Competency in Word, Excel and Outlook
• A strong academic background

Desirable: Experience working with Registered Providers / Housing Associations.
