We are partnering on a retained basis with a large, complex organisation undergoing a significant transformation journey to appoint a Head of People Change.


Reporting to the HR Director, this is a strategically critical leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering enterprise wide change, organisation design and organisation effectiveness strategies and initiatives across the business.


This opportunity will suit an experienced change leader who combines strong commercial acumen with deep expertise in organisational transformation, operating model design and executive stakeholder management.


The Opportunity


As Head of People Change, you will lead the people change agenda across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring the organisation is equipped to deliver sustainable business transformation.


Working closely with Executive leaders, you will shape change outcomes, challenge thinking, influence decision making and ensure organisational structures, capabilities and ways of working align to future business requirements.


This is a highly visible role requiring an individual who can operate confidently at Board and Executive level whilst providing leadership across organisation design, change management and organisation effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities


  • Partner with Executive and senior leaders to shape and deliver strategic transformation initiatives
  • Lead organisation design and operating model transformation programmes that support business growth and change
  • Establish and embed enterprise wide change frameworks, methodologies and governance
  • Drive organisation effectiveness initiatives focused on performance, accountability, decision making and ways of working
  • Provide oversight across a complex portfolio of change programmes, ensuring prioritisation, alignment and successful delivery
  • Assess organisational readiness, adoption and benefits realisation, providing insight and challenge where required
  • Influence senior stakeholders on organisational capability, workforce implications and transformation outcomes
  • Ensure change is delivered sustainably and embedded effectively across the organisation


About You


We are looking for an accomplished People Change leader with a proven track record of delivering large scale transformation within complex organisations.


You will bring:


  • Significant experience leading enterprise wide change and transformation programmes
  • Deep expertise in organisation design, organisation effectiveness and operating model transformation
  • Strong executive partnering and stakeholder influencing capability
  • Experience working across complex, matrix environments
  • A strategic mindset coupled with the ability to translate vision into delivery
  • A background in Business Partnering before moving into changed focused roles such a Head of OD/OE
  • Strong governance, programme oversight and change leadership experience
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship building skills
  • The credibility and resilience to challenge senior stakeholders and drive meaningful change
