Director of Digital Product & Experience | Birmingham (Hybrid; 1-2 days onsite) | £160K + bonus + car allowance

We’re partnering with one of the world's leading providers of food and support services, serving millions of customers across a diverse range of sectors.

This is a senior, high-impact role reporting directly to the CTO, with full ownership of a large, complex digital product estate spanning customer, operational, and commercial platforms.

The Opportunity

You’ll lead the strategy, development and performance of a multi-channel product ecosystem, including:

  • Customer-facing experiences (web, mobile, ordering, loyalty)
  • In-location digital experiences (kiosks, POS, venue technology)
  • Internal platforms powering operations and frontline teams at scale

This is an opportunity to own and evolve a product ecosystem used daily at national scale, with strong executive backing and a clear mandate to drive measurable commercial impact.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Defining and executing a clear product strategy aligned to commercial goals
  • Owning end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to adoption and optimisation
  • Leading and scaling a multi-disciplinary product organisation
  • Driving measurable outcomes across adoption, revenue, and customer experience
  • Embedding modern product practices, including data, experimentation and AI
  • Partnering closely with executive stakeholders, commercial teams, and operations
  • Scaling platforms across multiple segments, ensuring flexibility and reuse

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading digital product at scale within retail / consumer / omnichannel environments
  • Strong track record of owning multi-channel product ecosystems (eCommerce, POS, apps, operational tools)
  • Clear product leadership pedigree (Director / VP Product level)
  • A commercial mindset—comfortable owning outcomes, not just delivery
  • Experience leading large product teams across distributed / offshore models
  • Strong stakeholder influence at C-suite and cross-functional level
  • Familiarity with AI, data-driven product development, and modern product operating models

If you’re a product leader who thrives in complex, high-scale environments and wants to combine consumer-grade experience with real commercial ownership, this is a rare opportunity to take on a genuinely impactful remit.
