Senior Clinical Administrator – Occupational Health

Birmingham

3-Month Contract (Potential to Extend/Permanent)

37.5 hours per week (typically 08:30 – 16:30, with flexibility)

£15.40 PAYE / £19.55 Umbrella per hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Clinical Administrator to join a busy Occupational Health team in Birmingham. This is a hands-on administrative role with added responsibility, playing a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of clinical services.

You will be supporting clinicians, managing clinic operations, and overseeing key administrative processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage clinic schedules, appointments, diaries, and waiting lists
  • Prepare daily clinics and provide administrative support to clinicians
  • Handle confidential medical information and clinical reports in line with GDPR
  • Liaise with GPs, consultants, and other healthcare professionals
  • Oversee inbox management, reports, and system/data updates
  • Ensure efficient coordination of clinic activity and patient flow

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong administration experience (ideally within healthcare or clinical settings)
  • Understanding of confidentiality and experience handling sensitive information
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting or overseeing admin processes is highly desirable

  • Working Pattern: Mainly office-based due to clinic requirements
  • Location: Birmingham
  • DBS: Enhanced DBS required (must be in place or willing to obtain)
