Network Engineer

As part of continued investment across technology and infrastructure, the business is now looking to appoint an experienced Network Engineer to join its growing IT function.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking environment where you’ll work with modern networking and cloud technologies whilst contributing to both BAU operations and strategic infrastructure projects.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving the organisation’s network infrastructure across on-premise and cloud-based environments. The position will involve a blend of operational support, project delivery and continuous improvement work across networking and security technologies.

You’ll work closely with infrastructure, cloud and security teams to help ensure a secure, resilient and high-performing network environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure environments
• Delivering network-focused infrastructure and cloud projects
• Managing and optimising Fortinet firewall environments
• Supporting Cisco and Meraki networking technologies
• Assisting with AWS cloud networking and connectivity
• Troubleshooting complex networking and connectivity issues
• Supporting network security, resilience and performance improvements
• Contributing to infrastructure upgrades and technology refresh projects

Experience Required

We’re looking to speak with candidates who have experience in some of the following areas:

• Fortinet firewalls
• Cisco networking technologies
• Meraki environments
• AWS cloud networking
• Network troubleshooting and support
• Infrastructure and project-based engineering work
• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
