Python Developer - #2072698

Our client is looking for a Python Developer to deliver development work across a busy period of systems change. You will build and improve smaller applications and integrations, working closely with the Business Systems Manager across three active projects. This role is focused on reliable delivery across Python development, API integration, and web platform improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based features, tools, and integrations across three business systems projects.
• Build and maintain REST API integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Contribute to the re-platforming of a client portal using React and back-end development tools.
• Work with the Business Systems Manager to understand requirements and turn them into practical technical solutions.
• Review existing code and improve reliability, maintainability, and performance where needed.
• Deliver smaller development projects independently while keeping stakeholders informed on progress and risks.
• Test and troubleshoot integrations, APIs, and application features before release.
• Document technical changes clearly so systems can be maintained after delivery.
