SEN Teacher - Aspire People
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive school setting in south birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.
* Encourage student confidence, independence, and social development.
Requirements:
* QTS / PGCE.
* Experience working with SEN pupils is a must.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to teaching.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
