Senior Associate – Employment - Birmingham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded national Employment team. This role offers the chance to become a key part of a growing and ambitious practice, advising an impressive client base across sectors including higher education, logistics, mobility, technology, retail and financial services.

Title: Senior Associate

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £85,000

The Role

You will work on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal litigation, day-to-day advisory work, restructures and corporate support matters. The role offers strong client exposure, genuine responsibility and the opportunity to play an active role in the continued growth and development of the practice.

From the outset, you will be encouraged to contribute to business development initiatives, strengthen client relationships and help shape the future direction of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Managing Employment Tribunal claims, including discrimination and whistleblowing matters
• Advising on disciplinary and grievance processes, restructures and redundancies
• Providing employment support on corporate transactions, including TUPE matters
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements

About You

• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in employment law
• Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters
• Confident managing matters independently and providing commercially focused advice
