We are looking for a highly experienced fencing contractor to join myself and my son in our growing fencing business. We specialise in installing high-quality fencing in residential gardens across Birmingham and Coventry, and we take great pride in the standard of our workmanship and customer service.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, hardworking, reliable, and capable of completing fencing projects from start to finish to a high professional standard. We are looking for the right person to become a trusted part of the team and help maintain the reputation we have built with our customers.

You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of domestic fencing installation in residential gardens. The successful candidate must have strong experience installing different types of fencing and be able to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

You will regularly work alongside the team but must also be confident enough to work independently when required, take full responsibility for jobs, and ensure work is completed safely and professionally.

Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, so a friendly attitude and strong communication skills are essential. Every job must be completed with care and respect for the customer’s property, ensuring gardens are always left clean, tidy, and presentable after work is finished.

• Installing all types of fencing in residential gardens
• Carrying out fencing work from start to finish independently and as part of a team
• Measuring, preparing, and installing fencing to a high standard
• Using power tools and hand tools safely and correctly
• Driving a dropside van to and from jobs
• Taking responsibility for the quality of work completed
• Maintaining a professional and positive attitude with customers at all times
• Ensuring all work areas are kept safe, organised, and tidy
• Removing waste materials and leaving gardens clean and tidy after completion
• Working efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship

• Must have plenty of fencing experience
• Strong knowledge of installing all types of fencing
• Ability to complete jobs confidently from start to finish
• Must be able to drive a dropside van
• Experience using power tools safely
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must take pride in their work and attention to detail
• Ability to keep work areas clean and organised
