Be an Application Specialist, delivering specialized service and support for the EXENT system. Provide outstanding customer support by bringing to bear your in-depth product knowledge, technical skills, and tackle abilities.
What will you do:
- Customer Training: Train and certify end-user customers on the EXENT system through standard, sophisticated, and refresher courses at our Centers of Excellence or customer laboratories.
- Program Development: Develop and deliver EXENT Applications Specialist training, certification, and proficiency programs for the Technical Support Group globally. This includes co-visits to customer locations and subsidiary offices.
- System Implementation: Support the implementation of the EXENT system in customer laboratories, providing hyper care and integration support, including LIS requirements.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with global and regional technical teams to provide timely and effective technical support to customers and colleagues. This includes remote access support and technical investigations to diagnose and resolve system issues.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of proficiency and product knowledge on the EXENT system, including MALDI TOF Mass Spec, automated MALDI plate preparation, and associated software systems. Use this proficiency to develop globally approved service processes, knowledge articles, and technical guides.
- Apply your technical and customer-facing skills to demonstrate systems, software, and products during Customer demonstrations, customer insight days, and other company-led events.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the 'voice of the customer' in projects that impact product and service utilization in customer laboratories, including software and system development projects.
- Degree (or equivalent) in life science or other science related field or an equivalent engineering degree qualification or demonstrable scientific experience.
- Experience in a scientific or engineering field. (e.g. Clinical / research laboratories / electronics / biotechnology / medical devices)
- Experience providing applications or technical support for clinical laboratory customers is desirable.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English – both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally at short notice.
- Full driving license
