EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Full Stack Developer. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end components. The role aims to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions that meet business requirements and enhance user experience. This role will be based in Finham.

Other Key Accountabilities

  • Design and develop front-end and back-end applications using technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as MVC/DJANGO/Flask, React or Angular.
  • Develop middle-tier business logic, architecture, and APIs using languages like Java or Python.
  • Perform software design and code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing software following deployment.
  • Manage databases and server-side code, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs and existing frameworks.
  • Write unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.

You’ll travel and work at various sites/locations across the Severn Trent Water Region, attending team meetings where required and supporting local teams in implementing change programmes, including being flexible with working hours.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

Experience of professional software development would be required in the role. Having a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast paced environment would be beneficial. To succeed in this role, you will have experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong understanding of full-stack development principles.
