Due to exciting growth within Cygnet’s Social Care Division, Cygnet Social Care’s Commercial Team are looking to recruit a Referral Manager to support the teams Business Relationship Managers.
This role will be home based, with the expectation to travel as needed to visit services or attend meetings with customers. There is a requirement to attend the quarterly two-day Commercial Team meetings (location varies, accommodation provided). Own car and full UK driving license is essential.

The Role
The Referral Manager will work closely with their allocated Business Relationship Managers to manage and coordinate all incoming referrals from start to finish, as well as all finance related tasks. The Referral Manager will review all complex referrals to ensure all options are explored nationwide.
You will work to support 3 Business Relationship Managers across various regions.
Main Duties And Respinsibilities

The Role

You will work to support 3 Business Relationship Managers across various regions.
Main Duties And Respinsibilities
- Managing and coordinating all incoming referrals from start to finish, ensuring corporate timescales are met and the referral system is kept up-to-date.
- Monitoring provider portals weekly and process potential referrals for vacancies.
- Liaising with the Assessment Team, Service Managers and all external stakeholders to arrange assessments.
- Following up on additional reports and funding approval.
- Chairing transition meetings, ensuring Cygnet’s Co-Produced Transition Process is followed.
- Liaising with Marketing to ensure all visitors to services receive appropriate merchandise and information packs.
- Reviewing social care vacancies countrywide and ensuring all referrals are considered for any suitable for vacancies (with consent of the referrer).
- Supporting the Business Relationship Managers in customer meetings, and/or deputising due to annual leave/duplicate commitments.
- Developing a new vacancy profile/pen picture for each new vacancy that arises, and working with Business Relationship Managers to ensure customers are aware of bed availability.
- Monitoring customer activity, and where we have reduced activity, identifying engagement events for the Business Relationship Managers within the area, and making initial introductions to new contacts.
- Managing social care referral mailbox
- Consolidating all information on customer demand based upon enquiries and referrals received, providing updates and reports to the Commercial Director.
- Collating reports for the Senior Management Team to summarise sales performance and market trends.
- Compiling placement proposals, outlining the costings and placement information.
- Meeting Cygnet’s divisional targets for referral and conversion rates.
- Maintaining positive working relationships with the Operations Team, and a strong understanding of current service activity.
- Promoting Cygnet’s presence within the area by upon request of the Business Relationship Manager, attending conferences, engagement events and where appropriate, hosting external stakeholders to visit the services.
- Supporting the Commercial Director with adhoc tasks.
