About Us

Snappy Shopper is the market leader in the growing Q-commerce convenience grocery sector, worth £41b in the UK. In addition to our independent retailers, we serve most of the major convenience store players, including Spar, Nisa, Premier and Booker.

Snappy exists to enable local high street businesses to serve their customers online so that local communities thrive, and revenue stays local. Retailers have seen revenue uplifts of between £5k and £120k per month, making the platform mission critical to local business.

Our location

We are a Scottish start-up with just over 120 colleagues based around the UK with offices in Dundee and Edinburgh. This is a field-based role focused on the South of England area, so you’ll need to be comfortable with regular travel and ideally located within the region.

About The Team

You’ll be joining our high-energy Sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Growth, Onboarding and Support to ensure a smooth experience for newly signed retailers

About The Role

As Sales Manager for the South of England, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and signing up the best independent convenience stores to the Snappy Shopper platform. You’ll:

  • Develop and own winning sales strategies to bring new retailers on our platform.
  • Generate and manage your own pipeline, using a mix of outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
  • Deliver compelling sales pitches face-to-face, using Snappy Shopper sales materials.
  • Travel daily across your region to meet retailers, with some overnight stays required.
  • Ensure a seamless handover of newly signed stores to the Onboarding and Growth teams.
  • Provide ongoing support in the first 12 weeks of a retailer’s journey to ensure long-lasting success.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, field sales, or business development (ideally in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce).
  • Strong pipeline management and lead generation skills, using tools like CRM, social media, and competitor analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence retailer decisions.
  • A strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own schedule effectively.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel daily.

Ideally, you’ll also have knowledge of the competitive landscape, including Snappy Shopper alternatives.

Who you are is as important to us as what you can do. Do these values and behaviours sound like something that would come naturally for you?

  • Community: you understand Snappy Shopper goals to help local businesses compete online and our strategy, - work with others to deliver these whilst supporting colleagues.
  • Be Snappy: you work quickly to achieve tasks and recover when things go wrong or don’t go as planned.
  • Breaking Barriers: you thrive in the unknown - adapt to changing business requirements by prioritising key tasks and maintain a constructive and positive outlook when work is challenging.
  • Craic on: you are proactive in completing your role and responsibilities in a changing environment, whilst being open to and able share knowledge with others.

If you think you’ve got what it takes but hesitating…

At Snappy, we’re all about Community—inside and out. We exist to empower independent retailers, keeping local businesses thriving in a rapidly changing world. That means every role here has a direct impact, whether you're building our platform, supporting our partners, or shaping the customer experience.

What’s In It For You

At Snappy, we’re all about Community—inside and out, and that extends to how we support and develop our people.

Joining a high-growth tech scale-up is a whole new adventure. As we scale, so will your career. You’ll get hands-on experience applying your skills in real-time, working on projects that directly impact local businesses and the communities they serve.

The entrepreneurial nature of our business means you’ll work alongside passionate, purpose-driven people who care about innovation and making a difference. The challenges and opportunities will keep evolving, meaning you’ll constantly be learning and developing new skills—no two days are the same!

You’ll also be closer to the action than in most other companies, gaining commercial awareness, insight into how a business scales, and the ability to shape the future of a growing sector.

For those who love autonomy, fast learning, and impact, we put no limits on your ambition and personal growth.
