About the role

Join GSA as our Employee Relations Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping a fair, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. You’ll lead our ER strategy, providing expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, from case management and policy development to coaching leaders and driving cultural change. As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you’ll ensure legal compliance, mitigate risk, and promote a positive employee experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence organisational culture, lead a high-performing ER team, and make a lasting impact on how we support and engage our people.

About you

You’ll be CIPD qualified (Level 7 or equivalent experience) with strong knowledge of UK employment law and a proven track record in leading complex employee relations cases. You’ll bring experience in coaching managers, developing ER policies, and supporting organisational change such as restructures and TUPE. A confident communicator and trusted advisor, you’ll be skilled at influencing stakeholders, analysing ER data to inform decisions, and driving early, informal resolution of issues. Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset are essential. Experience with HR systems, data tools like Excel or Power BI, and additional training in mediation or conflict resolution would be a bonus.
