Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team on a 9-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in embedding a culture of user-centred design thinking across the organisation, ensuring we deliver exceptional digital experiences and real value to our global membership.
What you’ll be doing:
- Solving real-world problems for our members through insight-led UX processes
- Designing and delivering UX and UI solutions across a range of digital touchpoints
- Applying service design principles to create seamless omni-channel experiences
- Facilitating workshops with stakeholders across the business
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform and validate your designs
- Collaborating with analytics, optimisation, and research teams to identify new opportunities
- Championing UX best practices and contributing to the team’s strategic goals
About You
You’re a creative problem-solver with a passion for user-centred design. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience turning research insights into effective design solutions
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Miro, HotJar, and similar platforms
- Strong experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative user research
- A solid understanding of accessibility best practices
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems
- Excellent collaboration skills with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Clear, confident communication of your design thinking and rationale
