Location: Birmingham (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Package: Competitive base salary plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Role Purpose

This exciting role will be responsible for planning, designing, executing and reporting marketing campaigns, across a variety of digital marketing channels, with the purpose to drive quality SQLs and sales margin growth.

This role involves understanding target audience needs, and evaluating competition to develop compelling strategies. It will also involve working closely with Software and Security Business Unit Leads to develop and execute their go-to-market plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the marketing plan through coordination and ownership of funnel-based campaigns, creating campaign content, social media, website, thought leadership, advertorial, industry publications, digital content, case studies, and webinars. Will also be involved in shaping and helping to manage relevant events in their business unit area.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Digital Marketing, marketing team members, and other key business stakeholders to identify ICPs and create integrated marketing campaigns based on market segments, to gain new customers, build repeat business and drive high quality SQLs.
  • Contribute to demand generation, which includes development of content (in coordination with subject matter experts and product management) to engage prospects and support the sales team.
  • Define campaign goals and KPIs, manage timelines, and ensure on-time execution.
  • Continuously analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Communicate and report campaign progress and results to stakeholders.
  • Work with the Head of Digital Marketing to develop and execute quarterly and annual strategic Software and Security marketing campaign plans, that contribute to the sales pipeline and margin growth across the UK business.

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B Digital Marketing, ideally with a focus and understanding of the Software and Cyber Security Market.
  • Must be proficient in platforms such as Dotdigital, Google Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics and B2B Social Marketing Platforms
  • Should have a strong understand of Digital Marketing Channels and Principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills. Must be able to work with different department to develop and clear and effective marketing strategy for the Software and Security business unit.
  • Must be comfortable reporting back to business unit stakeholders on effectiveness and campaigns and confident to suggest optimisation where necessary.
