The opportunity
Our Managed Legal Services (MLS) team is growing rapidly and as a result we have a number of new opportunities for enthusiastic and driven Paralegals.
What you will be doing:
Our Managed Legal Services (MLS) team is growing rapidly and as a result we have a number of new opportunities for enthusiastic and driven Paralegals.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting on client secondment placements including Company Secretarial tasks. Additionally, there will be opportunities to provide support in other practice areas within the MLS team as and when needed.

This role would suit someone with high levels of attention to detail and the ability to summarise technical information into concise notes. You will have exposure to hands-on work from day one and will play a key role in a thriving team who provide a high quality service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and maintaining corporate governance materials
- Companies house filings
- Due diligence requests and AML checks
- Research relevant laws and regulations
- Changes to company structures
- Taking minutes for Board meetings with a highly technical focus
- Assisting the Chair to ensure the meetings run smoothly
- Performing regular updates to client documents
- Quality Assurance tasks
- Maintaining ongoing client relationships
- Working efficiently across the internal and external MLS clients
- Support other teams within Managed Legal Services based on capacity
What you will need:
- Previous experience within a Company Secretarial role is highly desirable
- Client facing/secondment experience
- Strong relationship management skills and confidence in dealing with clients and senior colleagues
- Strong IT skills and accurate typing ability
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of flexibility and initiative along with excellent organisational and prioritising skills; the ability to adapt and manage priorities at short notice is essential
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Enthusiasm, drive, commitment and a strong team player

Meet the team
The Managed Legal Services team supports Shakespeare Martineau, Lime Solicitors and Corclaim with legal process management, internal and external client paralegal support, client discovery, due diligence, data intelligence, knowledge management and client management services. The role of this team is to help improve efficiencies and the client experience by supporting our fee earning teams.
