Info About What The Role Entails
Drive achievement of financial targets by implementing agreed-upon strategies and cultivating relationships with target customers.
Represent the company at industry exhibitions and seminars, occasionally organizing events to maximize their success.
Deliver exceptional customer service by aligning customer expectations with the company's working philosophy and solutions.
Conduct in-depth research to identify and capitalize on application opportunities, converting them into viable customer relationships.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitor activities, including strategies, technical capabilities, pricing structures, and target markets, establishing expertise in the competitive landscape.
Stay informed about market trends and evolving customer needs to anticipate future opportunities.
Develop and implement a localized market strategy in collaboration with company leadership.
Provide accurate, timely financial and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Address and resolve customer and colleague inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Uphold health, safety, and well-being standards during all work activities, including travel, on-site engagements, and event participation.
Requirements Of The Technical Sales Manager (West)
Proven experience in selling instrumentation products, particularly mass flow meters and controllers, with a strong understanding of process industries like Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, and Chemical sectors.
Strong ability to maintain high customer satisfaction, develop future sales opportunities, and adopt a solutions-driven sales strategy.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex technical information to various levels of management and provide clear technical feedback across teams.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain customer relationships remotely through prospecting, research, and follow-ups.
A collaborative team player with strong influencing skills, committed to continuous learning and embracing change for personal and company growth.
Field Based (Travelling around the West of England & Wales)
