Sales Administrator, Birmingham, c£25-30k

The client of mine is an established and successful Birmingham based manufacturing company looking to add a new member to their team.

The successful person will be responsible for the efficient handling of external sales enquiries, to promote and market the products and to increase the efficiency of the sales office administration and supporting on-going continuous improvement activities.

Key Areas include: -

Sales: -

Prepare accurate quotation responses to customer enquiries in a timely fashion.

Manage and maintain customer price lists.

Lease and work with the production team to ensure prompt completion of the works orders to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.

Follow up on enquiries to obtain feedback and or to close the sale.

Recommend products to customers based on customers individual needs and requirements to suit specific applications whilst offering alternative products for improved performance.

Administration: -

Perform administrative duties such as preparing invoices and purchase orders and running stock reports to identify new order requirements.

Arrange transport for collection and deliveries.

Marketing: -

Take part in the expansion into new markets as well as continued expansion among existing markets.

Support and assist driving social media advertising to promote new or existing technology and performance.

Support Company Representation At Trade Shows In The UK.

Contact regular and prospective customers to introduce the company and products offered.

Quality: -

Assist the Quality manager in the development and review of the ISO9001 management system.

Support the development of work instructions and process maps for key operations.

Support the completion of customer and supplier pre-qualification questionnaires.

Continuous Improvement: -

Be responsible for driving and supporting key company improvement projects as necessary.

Monitor market conditions, competitors prices and product innovations.

You will have proven experience in this role with ability to carry out the required duties and experience.
