Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Support children with personal care needs, such as feeding and toileting, in a respectful and dignified manner
• Encourage inclusive practices and celebrate diversity
• Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to a culture of child protection
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development activities
• Work under the guidance of qualified staff while gradually taking on more responsibility
• Keep up-to-date with policies, procedures, and best practices in early years education

Training

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Educator L3.

Prospects

Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
