Please note, this role cannot consider candidate's who require visa sponsorship either now or in the futureWe’re seeking a Full Stack Developer to lead the development of a robust back-end infrastructure for a cutting-edge technology platform focused on performance monitoring and operational insight. Based in Birmingham, this full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to work on real-world, impactful technology projects. You’ll be responsible for designing and developing the system architecture that manages customer data and system performance insights, working closely with users to define requirements and ensuring solutions meet UK and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:Design and develop the back-end and database architecture for a scalable, high-performance system
Collaborate with customers to capture UI and data requirements
Validate software through the creation and execution of test plans
Ensure development is compliant with relevant engineering and data standards
Support verification and certification processes as required
Help shape and deliver product development roadmaps
What we’re looking for:Proficient in, Web API, HTML5, Flapper, CSS3, React, Node, JSON, SQL Server, and VS CodeStrong understanding of database architecture and data best practices
Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar (Bachelor’s or Master’s)Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Able to manage changing priorities and deliver to project timelines
Experience in an SME or tech start-up environment would be a bonus
Interest in clean energy or low carbon technology is desirable
