Salary Package: £24,000 plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm, Monday – Friday

The Warehouse Administrator plays a vital role in the Warehouse and Logistics office, performing essential administrative duties. The responsibilities will include processing orders, coordinating with warehouse colleagues, internal departments, and couriers to ensure the efficient and timely shipment of orders. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure pick labels and carrier notes are allocated and sent to the warehouse on a regular basis throughout the day.
- Review the configuration schedule for both shifts, update delivery methods and enter them on the courier manifest.
- Action tasks on the Task Manager system, including requests for shipments, quotes and any other information requested by internal colleagues.
- Creation of purchase orders for delivery services in a timely manner.
- Liaise with couriers regarding relevant bookings including specialist deliveries or same day shipments.
- Action requests for consignment numbers and proof of delivery (PODs) and investigate if they are not available.
- Assist sales branches and customer services with any delivery queries and escalate where necessary.
- Assist with scheduling SCC Transport and liaising with the drivers.
- Support the administration team with export related activities and duties.
- Proficient in computer use.
- Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Must be customer focused and proactive in problem solving.
- Experience or knowledge of a warehouse environment preferrable but not essential.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Organised and possess effective time management skills.
- Ability to problem solve.
