About the Role:The Planned Service Engineer will be responsible for the routine servicing, inspection, and maintenance of a range of machinery used in within the sheet metal industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine planned maintenance of machine tools and associated equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar service or maintenance engineering role
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
