Accounts SeniorBirmingham office based with hybrid workingMonday - Friday (35-hour week) On-site free parking space, excellent prospects including Director potential Circa £38,000 dependant upon experience Award winning practice that delivers high-quality financial services to a diverse portfolio of clientsExcellent office environment Supportive and friendly colleaguesGreat leadershipJob role / duties•Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.•Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and self-assessment tax returns.•Reconcile client bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.•Prepare working papers and assist with audits, as required.•Liaise with clients to obtain documentation and resolve queries in a professional and timely manner.•Maintain filing systems (digital and paper-based) in line with regulatory requirements.•Support the SMT with ad hoc tasks and administrative duties.To be considered you MUST:•Be proficient in the use of Xero accounting•Be highly experienced with FRS 105 & 102a•Have excellent verbal & written communication skills •Want to progress in your career and take on further responsibility•Be able to add value to the practiceThis role is UK based and does NOT have sponsorship opportunity Our process is barrier free and we will ensure you are carefully considered for the role you have applied for.
