About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Worcester. This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute their accounting skills in a flexible, part-time capacity, while working in a supportive and dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry and invoice processing



Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts



Process purchase and sales ledger transactions



Prepare and maintain financial records and reports



Support with month-end procedures



Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings



Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding payment queries



Provide general administrative support to the finance team



Requirements: Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role



Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping



Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel



Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy



Good organizational and time management skills



Ability to work independently and as part of a team



Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal



Desirable: AAT qualification (or working towards) or similar accounting certification



Experience working in an SME environment
