An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work for our NHS client based in Worcester, Worcestershire. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a short-term contract
What will your responsibilities be?
The appointed Occupational Therapist will be responsible for carrying a clinical caseload and will need to be an excellent communicator to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. The postholder will also carry out individual and group interventions on the adult acute in-patient wards. To assess OT need and plan therapeutic OT interventions using the Model of Human Occupation. To write reports using MOHO outcome measures and to ensure up-to-date and accurate records are maintained regarding all patient contact. Ensure that outcome measures are evidenced using standardised assessment tools such as OSA, OCAIRS, MOHOST partnership working with all relevant agencies/services/Individuals to support optimal care for patients. To develop partnership working with all relevant agencies/service/individuals to support optimal care for patients. Participate in risk assessment and formulate risk management plans
Qualifications and Experiences:
Previous experience within community inpatient settings
Experience with mental health
Must hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
HCPC registration
