Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of both human resources and financial management within a healthcare setting. This role is essential for ensuring that our practice runs smoothly while providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas.
  • Supervise staff, including dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment, training, and performance management of team members.
  • Develop and implement financial management strategies to maintain the practice's profitability while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in dental practice management.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, billing, and collections to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline operations.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure the practice is well-equipped at all times.
  • Address patient concerns and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of service quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a dental or veterinary practice is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources practices and principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff alike.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement in practice operations.
