Dispensing Optician - #1765834

As a qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC), you will dispense and fit spectacles and other optical aids, to both adults and children, working from the prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists. You'll advise customers on various types of lenses and spectacle frames, including style, weight and colour. You'll also advise on how customers should wear and care for their spectacles.

Your role will be to provide an excellent ophthalmic dispensing service, ensuring every customer gets the appropriate dispensing advice. You will need to be friendly, approachable, polite and helpful, comfortable working as part of a team and able to answer questions and queries utilising your excellent ophthalmic knowledge.

With a Head Office in Birmingham and a local manufacturing facility, we support over 169 retail branches across England, Scotland and Wales. This is a family owned business, which has maintained a presence in the city since 1938, and we are expanding.
