Are you an experienced Electrical Manager looking to lead impactful projects in renewable energy and ECO4 schemes? We're looking for a dynamic and qualified Electrical Manager to join our team in Birmingham, delivering sustainable energy solutions across social housing projects.

The Role

As Electrical Manager, you will oversee electrical works related to:

• ECO4 energy efficiency schemes

• Renewable energy installations (e.g., solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps)

• Planned and reactive maintenance within the social housing sector

• Compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards

You will manage a team of electricians and subcontractors, coordinate with other departments, ensure project timelines are met, and support continual improvement in energy efficiency services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of electrical works across multiple social housing projects

• Ensure compliance with NICEIC, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards

• Manage, motivate, and support electrical operatives and contractors

• Work closely with project managers and ECO4 coordinators to meet funding and delivery targets

• Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in renewable installations

• Manage materials, budgets, and scheduling to ensure cost-effective delivery

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Experience in domestic electrical works and renewable technologies

• Knowledge of ECO4 funding schemes and compliance requirements

• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor status

• Experience in social housing and retrofit environments

• Additional qualifications in renewable energy systems (e.g., solar, battery storage)
