We are working with a highly respected global engineering business to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding UK service team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical skills, some electrical capability, and a passion for delivering excellent service on-site.
The Role
This field-based role primarily covers the Midlands, with occasional travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays. You'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of specialised equipment at customer sites.

The Role

- Install and commission industrial/technical equipment on-site
- Perform routine and reactive service and maintenance tasks
- Diagnose and resolve faults involving mechanical and basic electrical systems
- Deliver high levels of technical support and customer service
- Keep accurate service records and documentation
- Background in precision or mechanical engineering
- Completed an apprenticeship and/or BTEC in engineering
- Practical, hands-on experience with mechanical systems and some electrical work (e.g. replacing boards, using test equipment)
- Confident using IT systems and technical documentation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Driving licence
- Experience in a field service or mobile engineering role
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Customer-focused with a professional attitude
