Supported Living Service Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (minimum 1 day per week providing direct support)
Full UK Driving Licence Required
Are you a passionate and experienced leader in adult social care? We're partnering with a well-established care provider to recruit a Supported Living Service Manager for an intensive support setting in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours that challenge.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading and supervising a dedicated team of Support Workers
- Ensuring the highest standards of care and support are consistently delivered
- Promoting independence, dignity, and choice for the people you support
- Acting as a role model and champion of best practices
- Collaborating closely with the Registered Area Manager to ensure smooth service delivery
- Providing hands-on support at least one day per week
- Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems effectively
- Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and satisfaction of all individuals in your care
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience supporting adults with complex learning disabilities
- Strong understanding of Autism and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or willingness to complete within 18 months)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, including participation in a rota
