Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to work alongside our clients in the Birmingham area
Hours: 7 am-2.30 pm
Days: Monday- Friday
Enhanced DBS needed
This position will require working in a variety of elementary and secondary schools, as well as care homes. You will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100 to 800 students, which will benefit their overall well-being and academic achievement.
Chef Manager Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook lunch for the students
Oversee food production and cooking
Take control of the ordering
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations
Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies
Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste
Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair
Assist in maintaining inventory records and budget control
Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.Chef Manager Qualifications:
