Nation Wide Project Manager - #1761813

Introduction:Our client, a well-established shop fitting contractor, is looking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee fast-track fit-out projects across the UK. This is a nationwide role, requiring someone confident managing multiple retail and commercial interiors simultaneously. The position can be offered on either a freelance or permanent basis, with a negotiable salary depending on experience (DOE) and a competitive package for permanent candidates.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of project delivery from initial handover through to final sign-off.

• Travel to sites across the UK, managing site teams and subcontractors.

• Ensure delivery to programme, budget, and design specification while maintaining high standards.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building strong working relationships.

• Monitor project progress, resolve challenges, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

• Maintain all project documentation, safety records, and compliance logs.

• Coordinate logistics, materials, labour, and programme adjustments to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in shop fitting, retail, or commercial fit-out project management.

• Ability to manage multiple projects across different regions simultaneously.

• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid required.

• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

• Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Open to both freelance and permanent candidates – flexibility and availability are key.
