About the Role:As Team Leader, you’ll support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, child-centred care. You’ll be working within a solo EBD placement, helping to create a safe, stable, and nurturing home. Responsibilities include:

• Providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to support staff

• Acting as a key worker and role model for the young person in placement

• Supporting behaviour management and therapeutic routines

• Ensuring safeguarding procedures and care plans are followed

• Leading shifts, delegating tasks, and ensuring consistency in care

• Promoting emotional resilience, independence, and positive outcomes

About You:

• Experienced in residential childcare (EBD or similar needs)

• Confident leading shifts and supporting less experienced staff

• Emotionally resilient, calm under pressure, and genuinely child-focused

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it)

• Committed to working a rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
