Job Title: Field Service Engineer Birmingham Area
Location: Birmingham (Please know that you will be reporting to Warrington and may be required to travel there from time to time)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week | between 07:30 and 16:00 Monday to Friday

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll take your expertise on the road, providing high-quality maintenance, diagnostics, and technical support for specialist equipment across the Birmingham area. From fault-finding and repairs to customer training and compliance inspections, you’ll play a vital role in upholding operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Service and repair specialist equipment at customer sites
- Perform LOLER inspections and operator training
- Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support
- Maintain safety standards and accurate job documentation
- Support continuous improvement and uphold quality standards
- 5+ years’ experience in heavy plant or waste management equipment
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to read schematics
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
