ents.Birmingham City Council is the largest local authority social landlord in Europe, with a stock profile of just under 60,000 properties. As a Service Improvement Officer you will play a key role in transforming the resident experience, monitoring our day to day repairs service and planned investment works to our residents and how we engage with our residents across all aspects of the asset management ser
vice.
You will be responsible for ensuring all systems and processes around Repairs, Maintenance and Investment are effective, implemented and operated in line with departmental requirements. You will also play a key role in improving our resident communication and engagement, data quality and creating digital solutions to ensure the service continuously improves its regulatory compliance and tenant satisfaction mea
sures.
We have embarked on a change journey to become a high performing social landlord. We are poised to launch an ambitious plan to invest between £180m and £220m in our housing stock each year for the next seven years. Our strategic priority is to improve the condition and quality of our homes for our residents, ensuring they are warm, safe, and sustainable for the years t
o come.Additionally, you will be involved in supporting the procurement and mobilisation of new contracts (£1.3 billion) which will go live in Apri
l 2026.
As an experienced individual with a can-do attitude you will be responsible for supporting all operational delivery teams and be involved in shaping and improving the service, ensuring that we are delivering a high quality, value for money service to our residents. You will be able to evidence a proven track record of delivering improvements to services, involving residents to deliver high levels of consumer satisfaction, ensuring all regulatory and statutory standards are a
