Metal Worker - #1759196

Contek Recruitment are currently recruiting for a skilled Metal Worker to join our clients small, family-run team, based in central Birmingham. This is a permanent position, and is full-time.You'll manufacture custom-made architectural metalwork solutions, including:

• Shopfronts
• Canopies
• Staircases
• Balustrades
• Gates/Railings
• Other bespoke metal structures

You'll work with a variety of materials and machinery to meet specific client requirements. including:

• Brass
• Bronze
• Aluminium
• Stainless & mild steel (Up to 6mm thick)

Duties:

• Using bandsaws and table saws.
• Using pedestrial drills.
• Using various different hand tools and power tools.
• Reading engineering drawings.

Person Requirements:

• Previous metalwork experience is required.
• Previous welding experience is preffered but not required.
• Ability to read detailed Engineering drawings.
• Great communication skills.
• Positive attitude and outlook on work.
• Good attention to detail.
