Since 1987 our client, a specialist within the food service sector has been providing frozen ready meals and snacks into major pub groups. To further their expansion they now require a Key Account Manager Salary and benefits£40k basic, £5k car allowance and OTE £50k. Good opportunity to be part of a medium sized business who are looking for ideas and growth. The Role As a Key Account Manager you will be given a number of key foodservice accounts with the view of developing them, and also resolving any delivery or quality issues. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Business Development Manager in the growth of accounts
• Increase the range of meals supplied to the foodservice end users
• Work closely with the accounts in establishing order patterns, tastes and further product development

The Person This Key Account Manager would need to have a knowledge of the food service sector, either as a sales person selling into it or as a chef. It might be that you are working for a wholesaler and looking for the opportunity to work for a manufacturer. Additionally you must have a full driving license and a positive "can do" attitude.
